I am your podcast host, Kristen Brennan. I am a lifestyle and beauty blogger, podcaster, first time mom, wife, and content creator sharing all of my tips through motherhood. I am obsessed with all things mindset and am on a mission to help you live a life with less anxiety and more calm.
If youโre listening to this when it airs on may 1st itโs my birthday I am officially in my 30s and I think Iโm the happiest iโve ever been and itโs one of the reasons I wanted to start a podcast to just encourage other women and especially the moms out there who are feeling unfulfilled or stuck or unhappy in certain areas of their life.
I also started this podcast because I needed an outlet to express all the things Iโve been learning and have gone through and grown through that have helped me along my journey as a mom and creative.
Iโve always dreamed of starting a podcast and it wasnโt until recently I was actually voice noting a friend and business partner helping her through something she was struggling with and she said โyou should start a podcastโ and ever since then I havenโt been able to stop thinking about it so i finally pulled the trigger.
Today the day this podcast is coming out on my 30th birthday and I figured what better way to start my 30s off with a bang than by starting a podcast and launching my YouTube channel. My YouTube channel is also live and the first video will be up next week! Two things iโve been dreaming about doing for years. I have my blog and other social channels but always wanted to take it a step further to get my message out there and just find other ways to be creative and have fun with that entire process.
I am so excited to take you along for the journey and share tips and all the things and ways that have helped me go from anxiety driven to living from a place of calm.
It has changed everything for me. Itโs helped strengthen my marriage with my husband Bob, I am a way more present and caring mom to my daughter Olivia, I have so much more grace and self compassion for myself and it has bettered all my relationships in my life.
To start off my very first episode I wanted to keep it short and sweet by sharing a very foundational lesson iโve learned when it comes to living with less anxiety and more calm having more happiness and contentment and thatโs thinking differently.
Thereโs SO much to talk about when it comes to this topic and Iโm excited to dive into it in future episodes of the podcast.

Because how you think ultimately determines how you show up in the world and how you feel about yourself and others how you treat yourself and how you treat others.

I am so excited to dive into all the mindset shifts that have helped me go from depressed, feeling unfulfilled and unworthy to being the happiest Iโve ever been. Donโt get me wrong, I definitely have some days that are harder than others and it is not all sunshine and rainbows. HOWEVER, i have learned how to operate differently in a way that helps me turn my day around quickly and just overall have a better experience day to day.
