I am so excited to share our 2023 Christmas Wishlist for Liv and gift ideas for one year old to help you with your gift shopping this year! I love putting together gift guides! They are very time consuming and a lot of work but they’re so much fun to work on!
This Christmas is going to be such a fun Christmas for Liv because she is at the perfect age to have fun opening her gifts. I made this gift guide for those looking to shop for her, but also as a guide for you and to anyone who needs ideas for their own one year old. Or maybe you need ideas for your niece, this is the perfect guide for you!

These gift ideas are in no particular order but I figured I would start with sharing the clothes first.
CLOTHES | GIFT IDEAS FOR ONE YEAR OLD
Liv is in desperate need for clothing for the size she is in now. She grew out of SO MUCH and I cannot believe how quickly they grow out of things! Right now she needs pajamas, regular, everyday loungy clothes and some winter must haves like a jacket. She is fitting in 18 month clothing as of right now, but it all depends on the brand since nothing runs the same.
FROM OLD NAVY:
Old Navy has a lot of really cute options. I had to scroll through ALL the pages to find the good pieces, but sometimes it’s a hit or miss.

H&M Kids is another really great place to find baby and toddler clothes!
FROM CARTER’S:
I was not able to link all of the clothing I found from Carter’s in this widget for some reason. It only allowed me to link two of the items I found. I am hoping to get this resolved soon so that I can link everything else. But in the meantime, here are two that I found.
Other Gift Ideas for One Year Old
COZY SHERPA POTTERY BARN ANYWHERE CHAIR | GIFT IDEAS FOR ONE YEAR OLD
Liv has been loving her little baby propper in the nursery for reading/looking at her books (her favorite thing to do). I have also been detaching the high chair for her to sit in and play with in the living room. She loves it! It all started at my mom’s house when we put the feeding seat on the living room floor and she played in it like all night.
She really needs a reading chair/chair for her to sit in / lounge in for her nursery and the living room when she is hanging out with us.
I included another chair option below, but this is a favorite. They have the Anywhere Chair in different variations, sizes and fabrics, but this one looked cozy so I had to include it.
You can also customize it by adding her name in a specific font and color.
TONIEBOX IN PURPLE | GIFT IDEAS FOR ONE YEAR OLD
This is one of those items I keep hearing about and think it’s such a cool concept.
It plays bedtime stories, music and other learning sounds. It plays up to 52 minutes of songs/stories. The battery life extends up to 7 hours. It also comes with an app to pick and choose what songs/stories to add to the box.
This is a way better way to stimulate their imaginations without using a screen! Here for that!
BUSY BOARD | GIFT IDEAS FOR ONE YEAR OLD
Have you ever see na busy board before? This is just like that except is a travel version that is easy to carry around that your little one can flip through like a book.
SENSORY TABLE | GIFT IDEAS FOR ONE YEAR OLD
I am over due for some sensory bins for Liv. This is also like a two-in-one because the bins have lids that transform it into a table that can be used for coloring, storytime, and more.
Sherpa Fold Out Couch
This is a more affordable option to the Pottery Barn Anywhere Sherpa Chair and even folds out. I would like to have one cozy/reading chair for the nursery as well as the living room for Liv so that I don’t have to carry it back and forth upstairs and downstairs.
We do have a wooden rocking chair in the nursery that she loves.
DOONA TRIKE
I keep seeing this everywhere and I feel like this would be so fun to use for Liv.
Not only is this portable and foldable, but can be transformed into other variations like a trike they can ride on themselves.
Montessori climbing playground
If you’re not familiar with what Montessori is, it’s a method of learning that is based on self-directed activity, hands on learning and collaborative play.
This climbing playground is great for playtime and learning.
Wooden helper tower
There is nothing I love more than watching Liv has so much fun doing things right alongside me. And involving her in my day to day things is a great way to keep her engaged, grow our bond and make her feel a part of the family operations.
This also is great so that your child is able to observe what you are doing and learn by watching and doing things with you.
KITCHEN SET
This is so cute! I almost didn’t include one of these on this list, but when I saw this set, I could not resist.
you are my sunshine book
‘You Are My Sunshine’ is the song I have been singing to Liv since she was a baby that has always calmed her right down and is pretty much the only song I can put on in the car that helps her fall right to sleep. So when I saw this book, I had to include it on her wishlist.
TOY VACUUM
My sister-in-law ended up buying this for Liv for Christmas this year. It’s such a great gift idea for her because anytime I take out the vacuum, she comes running over wanting to help. I think she will love this one and if you have a little one that loves to get involved, this is a great gift idea for them as well!
THAT COOL NEW TOOTHBRUSH THING I SAW FOR KIDS
I found the autobrush and thought it was SO cool. You can shop that here, but it’s recommended for ages 3 and up. My daughter is 15 months old and only has 4 teeth that haven’t completely come in yet so the teether would make more sense to use.
MINI STANLEY
Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? It’s a 14 ounce tumbler, the perfect size for your little one.
NUGGET COUCH
This is the original play couch that folds up into multiple different ways. The best part in my opinion is that it comes with a removable and washable fabric cover.
It provides hours of endless independent play. Build forts, create reading nooks, lounge, and makes THE best play couch.
MEMOIRE KIDS FLEECE LINED WINTER SHOES
Most baby shoes limit movement of kids’ feet which can result in issues with their feet down the line. Memoire shoes and these boots have flexible soles and designed to mimic the natural movement of your baby’s feet.
RAIN BOOTS
I had to include rain boots on this list for those rainy days of walking and exploring.
RAIN COAT
Is this not the cutest rain coat you’ve ever seen? I love that it is nice and long and covers a lot of the body.

Okay so I saw these when I was searching for something else and I could not help myself but add these to the list.
WOODEN MAKEUP SET
Liv is ALWAYS playing with my makeup and running away with a bottle of my mascara or concealer (don’t worry I always supervise her and she is not able to get them open).
But I saw this set and thought it was so cute plus it’s wooden. Any excuse to buy a wooden over a plastic toy set anyday.
DOODLE BOARD PAD
Okay so I saw these when I was searching for something else and I could not help myself but add these to the list.
I use the Remarkable tablet and Liv is always grabbing for it because she loves to scribble with the pen so I had to include this on the list because she clearly needs one of her own.
ICE CREAM WALKER
Liv loves her walkers and is pushing them around everywhere. I saw this and could not resist adding it to the list because one, it’s so cute and two, it’s wooden.
FOAMNASIUM mega WEDGES
These are SO perfect for playtime and getting all of the energy out!
PLAY MARKET STAND
My friend Katie snagged one of these at a major discount somewhere and it’s just the cutest play set!
INDOOR ARCH ROCKER
This is super aesthetic but also very Montessori-esqe! I love that you can use it as a rocker or flip it over and climb on it. Great for explorative play and the sherpa insert unties and comes off as needed.
BABY DOLL CARRIER
I HAD to include this on here because anytime Liv sees me get the carrier out, she FREAKS out in excitement! Lately she’s been playing with it and trying to put her baby in it so I figured I definitely need to get one for her to carry all her babies and stuffed animals in! How cute!
TABLE AND CHAIR SET
I love this set because it comes with a net in the middle to store toys or whatever you want to really. Liv is definitely due for one of these soon so she can sit and color, doodle, read, snack, play and more.
